With decades of English education experience in a variety of contexts (public/private, day/boarding, American/international, university/secondary schooling, formal/informal), I continue to put my PhD in service of educational and writing practices that challenge business as usual.

I’ve never been a fan of applying generic techniques tin teaching or writing nor promoting a canned, one-size-fits-all understanding of what educators, students, or writers need. Rather I love working with clients to help them find the processes that fit them – processes that support their inquiry, further their goals, and achieve outcomes that include an enjoyable and sustainable experience of creation. Yes, it is possible!
