Walking and Writing

Restoring balance and finding accountability in community.

I've spent ten years committed to a daily walking routine. It's a habit I want to share with others, as it has helped me experience a more connected and balanced relationship between my personal and professional goals. I'd love other writers to experience that as well!

You want to move more but can't seem to build it into your routine...

Every professional who does a lot of writing knows that awful feeling of when you've been staring at the screen too long, but you can't seem to step away from it. Worse yet, the longer you sit, the less you get accomplished.

Walking and Writing is specifically designed for academic writers and professionals who need accountability and a supportive community to ensure that you get out from behind the desk and keep your brain and body more regularly and more sustainably connected.

Why Walking and Writing?

Build a new habit. Restore balance.

Sustainable routines bring more meaning and joy in an already taxing work culture. What's the point, after all, of making ourselves miserable? It can be so much better...

IT IS POSSIBLE ...

to be productive AND satisfied.

Hi! I'm Kelly, and I would love to walk and write with you!

While navigating a move abroad during dissertation writing and juggling that with a full-time job in international schools, I learned just how invaluable both sustainable walking and writing routines are to my happiness, health, and productivity.

I'd love to share these strategies with you in a supportive community. We help each other stay accountable to the things that matter to us most. Hope you'll join us!
